Jerry Goetz is the founder of Retirement & Financial Strategies and has been a trusted resource for financial planning and investment management in Owensboro, Kentucky for over 25 years. He established the firm with a focused mission: to provide clients with a deeply personal, locally rooted experience for navigating their financial lives — from early wealth-building through a confident retirement.
In his current role as President, Jerry provides ongoing guidance and consultation to the firm's advisor team, drawing on decades of client relationships and planning expertise. His investment in the next generation of the practice is reflected in the fact that both his daughter Emma and son Evan have followed in his footsteps — each earning the CFP® designation and joining the firm as financial advisors.
Jerry believes deeply in balance — physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual — and brings that philosophy to his approach to financial planning. He is a man of faith, a devoted husband and father, and a practitioner who views his work as more than a profession. He has been married to his wife Michelle since 1995 and has three children: Emma, Evan, and Ella Claire.
